Blush Candles are available exclusively from candle Consultants at home parties or through fundraisers, or by visiting our online boutique. Because Blush Candles are highly-scented, clean burning and an excellent value, they sell themselves. Becoming a part of the Blush team means owning a profitable home-based business and working the hours you choose, based on your personal goals. Blush offers two ways to start your business: as a Candle Consultant or as an Independent Distributor.

Blush Consultants earn 25% commission on all sales, plus rewards, free candles and additional incentives, without the pressure to meet monthly sales and party quotas. Simply sell candles and earn money at your own pace. Fundraisers are another way for Blush Consultants to increase their earning potential, as they receive additional commission for each candle sold! We are confident that your business will grow exponentially once friends, family, neighbors and co-workers discover the Blush difference for themselves.

Becoming a Blush Distributor means owning and operating a profitable candle distribution business from your home or office. Candle Consultants who live in areas with Blush Distributors have the option to purchase and pick up candles from the closest Distributor to them, avoiding shipping and handling costs. In territories without a Distributor, Consultants may order directly from Blush, using the Consultants page of our website.

  2. Obtain a password: Within 48 hours, you will receive an email from Blush with your consultant number and ordering password

  4. Open and review/print the New Consultant packet

Requirements:

  1. Obtain a tax id number from your state taxation department (most can be obtained quickly and easily by logging on to your local department of taxation website, for a minimal charge).
  2. Consultants working through Blush must collect and pay sales tax (your local tax rate). State and city tax rates and requirements are also available on your local taxation website).
  3. Purchase a sales kit and all subsequent candle orders via the Consultants (link) online ordering section of our website.
  4. Minimum purchase for shipment is 2 cases (24 candles, any size) and/or $100 (consultant cost). Freight charges will be billed separately via email invoice, prior to shipping.

Q and A

What is included in the Consultant Sample Kit?
A wickless sample tin of each fragrance in the Blush line (approximately 38), wick trimmer, designer dipper, a package of 25 order forms and 20 product brochures, and a smaller carrying case used for transporting supplies, business cards, sample candles, or even to use as a fundraiser sample kit.

How do I get paid?
Your 25% commission is deducted from your purchase price. When you order on our website, your prices reflect the deduction of your commission rate from the end user price. You will collect the list price, plus taxes and shipping from your customer, receiving your commission right away.

How do I conduct a Party?
This information is available in the New Consultant manual. We have found that most customers prefer an Open House environment, free of presentations and high pressure sales. Most successful parties involve a display of the sample fragrance tins, grouped by fragrance type, brochures, and a small assortment of candles for “cash and carry.” We recommend that, prior to the event, Consultants purchase a small variety fragrances and sizes to display and have available for customers to purchase and take home. At the open house, a Consultant will answer product questions, make recommendations, explain best sellers, take orders and collect payment for products.

Will my customers be able to pay by credit card?
Consultants working through Blush may choose to set up a merchant account for their Blush business so they are able to accept credit cards from their customers. Accepting credit cards will often boost your sales substantially, but be sure to evaluate monthly and/or per transaction charges to determine if it would be profitable.

How long will it take to get my order?
During the months of January through September, orders will be shipped approximately 3-5 business days from the time we receive your order. In October through December, orders will be shipped 7-10 business days from the time they are received. These turnaround times are estimates. We will make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible.

What do I charge my customers for shipping and handling?
The larger your order is, the better your shipping price (per candle) will be. We suggest that you estimate your shipping costs based on the size order you anticipate placing with Blush (2 case minimum for shipping). Divide that total among the number of candles to determine the rate you should be charging per candle. You will charge customers shipping in one of two ways: either estimate a flat shipping rate per candle and include it in the price (for example, you may sell your 9 oz. candle for $10.75, and 16 oz. candle for $16.00), or sell candles for our list price, and add estimated shipping costs as a separate line item on the customer’s order form (based on either the dollar amount or number of candles purchased).

How are my orders shipped?
Most orders will be shipped via UPS ground.

What if my shipment arrives damaged?
Orders arriving with damaged products must be reported by calling us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. Please keep all of the damaged products and packaging materials so we may file a claim with UPS. Photographs may be required to process the claim. Replacement candles (identical products) will be sent at no additional charge to you.

Does Blush accept returns?
Customers should have the opportunity to smell the fragrance (from the sales kit) prior to purchasing a candle. Blush does not accept exchanges or returns for products in good condition.
